Comparing to what hits Jonathan's bank

Cash channel ($180K in 2024, $196K in 2025): This money never touches Paystri. It comes in as physical cash — coin drops, kiosk cash, and attendant cash — and gets deposited to the bank directly through cash handling. If Jonathan's bank shows roughly $150–200K/year from FasCard-related deposits, that is likely this channel flowing correctly.
Paystri channel ($196K in 2024, $190K in 2025): Every credit/debit card transaction in FasCard settles through Paystri via ACH. Paystri holds a merchant account with a designated bank account number. If that account number was set up under the previous owner and was never updated, Paystri has been wiring this money to the wrong destination — approximately $386,600 over 2024–2025 alone.
POS add-value ($29K in 2024, $64K in 2025): This is value loaded at a POS terminal. The routing is unclear — it may go through Paystri (if the POS is FasCard's own device with a card reader) or through CardConnect (if the POS is the WDFPOS terminal Trinity uses). This channel grew significantly in 2025 (+124%) and is worth clarifying separately.
What to check first in Paystri: Log in to the Paystri merchant portal and go to Settlements or ACH Deposit History. Look at two things: (1) the total settled over 2024–2025 — it should be close to $386,600 for those two years; (2) the bank account number receiving the deposits. If that account is not Jonathan's current business account, that is where the money has been going.
Questions for the Paystri call
  1. What bank account is on file for ACH settlements? — Ask them to read back the routing + last 4 of account number.
  2. What is the total settled to that account for Jan 2024 – Dec 2025? — Compare to $386,600. Should be close.
  3. Has there been any change of ownership or merchant account update since the location was acquired? — If no, the old owner's account is still active.
  4. What account handles the POS terminal settlements? — Clarifies whether that $93K routes through Paystri or CardConnect.
